Under the general supervision of the Kitchen Supervisor or Assistant Manager ofProduction, ensures that each patient receives appropriate meal service, whichfollows the prescribed diet order. Other challenges include the delivery andpick up of patient trays. The incumbent interviews patients for foodpreferences, special dietary needs, simple allergies, distributes/collectsmenus, monitors intake as assigned by the dietitian, and works with the patientto provide optimal oral intake.
