TRICKY DANCE MOVES ARE MY FAVORITE!!!

My life belongs to SaLsa!!! I have found my true calling in life...further more I have found the reason why I moved to Chico...
ok maybe not...I am exaggerating but isnt that what I always do?
So me and Terry actually went SaLsa dancing tonight with some of the international students that we met a couple of weeks ago. It was mainly for our Mexican friend Alba. Anyways...we arrived at the Holiday Inn...pleasant place for SaLsa dancing by the way...and did not know what to expect...as usual.
We sat down at a table which doesnt seem to last too long because any woman sitting is immediately approached by a gentleman who is eagerly awaiting to take you away to the dance floor...Terry was approached by a man whose red irridescent shirt shimmered under the pale light, illuminating so wonderfully onto the dance floor...and white jeans and cowboy boots...talk about a SaLsa partner...
I was finally asked by a younger guy who admitted to not knowing how to SaLsa very well
He taught me the basics and I felt like an idiot the whole time
I knew my experience with SaLsa wasnt good enough with this partner so I took my chances elsewhere
but before moving on to someone else I took a break but it wasnt long before a much much older short-statured man carrying a drink yelling, "I am "G" approached our table. "Who wants to dance? " He kept asking. He wouldnt take no for an answer so I told him I would go...
I was betting all my money on G to show me how to really SaLsa.
I told him I sucked which I did but he said hed teach me
He was actually skilled and probably for the next half hour he taught me all the basics and some "advanced" moves that I cant share with you...ok just messing...they were just tricky turns and what not...nothing a novice would know how to do or be taught
I got free lessons from the guy and sweated way too much for leisurely dancing.
But I sure did have some solid wholesome fun...but I wont dedicate my life to this unfortunately
I cannot just be "strictly ballroom"
In conclusion I want to leave you not with words of wisdom but with a mental note...and a cliche
looks can be deceiving!
Expert SaLsa dancers dont look it...they possess a nonsensical kind of fashion in which cowboy gear and colored jeans are of the norm and they sport the mullet like it didnt even exist...long, flowy in the back and clean-cut on the top...im mainly speaking about the men but they really get your attention in the "hey make fun of me" kind of way.
So I hope you can rest well knowing what Im up to on a Tuesday night in Chico...I could be in the arms of any old random man who loves to dance SaLsa more than eat salsa
good night
love you all
especially all you crazy kids!
