EVERYONE IS GONE!! :(

And not gone as in left for Christmas break...because although that is a reason for the house being empty, I am in fact talking about how two more of the orginals have moved out of the 155! Am very sad right now...and I know that this blog is not to be taken serious...BUT I FEEL THIS IS SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO BE DOCUMENTED!!! That's right...Sara Herero & Jamie Brezmus moved out yesterday morning, Monday December 19th @ 11am-ish! Tears fell...many hugs were given...and a few "I LOVE YOU"s thrown out there too! Oh yeah, and a new tradition was born! I was given a present by Sara & Jamie, something they really thought I would enjoy/cherish/keep forever/love with all my heart/never throw away/stare in awe/display for all to see...I think you get the point. Anyways, I was given this bird (looks like a boat) statue/figurine that came from Ikea because I was the only person that probably came to mind when they thought what to do with the thing! After staring in amazement at the wonder before me, I jokingly stated I would only keep it if it was signed by the departing members of this household...AND MUCH TO MY WONDERING EYES DID APPEAR, a sharpie marker, retreived by Sara and two quick signatures...NO QUESTIONS ASKED! So...a new tradition was born...AND DON'T YOU WORRY ROOMMATES THAT HAVE ALREADY LEFT...I'M BRINGIN' IT TO VEGAS ON NEW YEARS FOR YOU TOO TO SIGN!! I know you're excited...try to hold it in until I see you next! Right now it's safely teetering atop the bookshelf next to the statue of David while the knome (sp?) looks up in angst at the buddy buddy thing going on between Dave and the Bird...maybe I'll take a picture...but probably not so just use you're imagination at the scene that I just set before you! So this blog is ridiculous, no real need to write it except to say that I REALLY REALLY MISS EVERYONE! IT'S SAD THAT EVERYONE IS LEAVING...BECAUSE I REALLY LOVE YOU ALL AND AM GOING TO MISS YOU GUYS TERRIBLY AND WILL PROBABLY GO INTO DEBT BECAUSE MY TRAVELS THAT WILL TAKE PLACE TO SEE YOU ALL!

I can't wait for the reunions...new years'...urbana..."the wedding"...random road/flight trips...AND THE CENTER (can't forget the center!!)

My First Blog

So... I feel so at home with the ridiculousness of the college drive house that is happening tonight. This is my first blog written EVER! I never thought this day would come but since it's just a ridiculous blog I guess it's not so bad. Tonight was...well.... fun! With the adventure starting at the Olive Garden amoungst high schoolers going to the Military Ball and wearing bras with strapless dresses that not only looked ridiculous (i like that word) but very trashy. AND the LIVE view of some first date action happening right in front of us that was like watching a chick flick in the making... until they started feeding eachother, then it was jsut kinda sick... although Laurie just kept laughing her manly deap laugh we all know and love. The night continued... but first we had to "page" Meredith so she would come upstairs and steal some mints for us.. which we now have an abundance of sitting in the freezer. So.. we left the Olive Garden... to continue our night of fun... which turned into sitting in the living room on myspace for an hour... only talking a bit while Laurie and I were trying to find all 75 bands in some picture posted on myspace... after an hour of looking and making up some band names becuase we couldn't figure out what things meant, Laurie found a cheat sheet so we moved on in life. We decided to do something not so lame so that when sara herr called her "jewish prince" he wouldn't call her lame... so.. I got up and...... we talked about watching a movie so that when people showed up it'd look like we were cool... but that was only talk and never really happened and I didn't know what else to do so.... I got some mints out of the freezer ;) and then sat back down to write my first blog ever!

so now here we sit... almost 2 hours later... laurie on myspace and IMing... sara on myspace finding all her old friends that are now engaged... and me... writing this blog... people are on their way here... probably more people than any of us are prepared to have in this house... but oh well... we don't care that it's friday and we're myspacing and we're all happy.... and the college drive ridiculousness continues........

oh... and apparently 5 seconds now equals 15 years....
